Horatio Colony Nature Preserve

As we humans plan for winter and the holidays, how does the natural world prepare for the change of seasons? Take a hike through the Horatio Colony Nature Preserve to discover animal signs such as tracks, shelters, and food sources. Antioch students will discuss how these signs are related to species habits for seasonal change.
Meet at the Horatio Colony Nature parking lot off Daniels Hill Rd., Keene, NH.
 
 
    Friday, November 30 – 7:00 to 8:30 pm &
Saturday, December 1 – 1:00 to 2:30 PM
Holiday Open House

Building on a theme of ‘Animals’,  the museum will be decked out with traditional Christmas decorations.  Images of animals from the museum’s collection will be displayed and a tree with decorations designed and made by local elementary school students will be featured.
Donations requested.  Proceeds will go to Monadnock Humane Society.
